How it Began
Ms. Angela Counts, owner of Counts Connects Healthcare, embarked on her healthcare career over 25 years ago, driven by compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to providing quality care. With a diverse background encompassing roles such as Certified Nurse Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Medical Billing/Insurance Specialist, Healthcare Management, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Registered Nurse, she has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her ultimate journey, however, unfolded when she assumed the role of caregiver for her family members.
Several years ago, Angela's mother began displaying signs of dementia, overlooked by the primary provider. Around the same time, her sister fell ill and received a misdiagnosis, leading to improper treatment. Angela, recognized the need to advocate for her loved ones, then relocated them nearby and leveraged her resources to secure a more patient-centered and quality-driven medical team.
Angela's dedication stems from witnessing inadequate care provided to the elderly, disabled, and less fortunate. As a Patient Advocate, she is committed to ensure that our passion for quality care is reflected in our service.
